He was predeceased by: his parents, A. T. Thomas, Jr. and Violet Jones Thomas; his sister Rhoda Thomas Walden; and his wife Suzanne Stubblebine Thomas. He is survived by: his sons, Alec Thomas (Julie) of Ocala and Rob Thomas (Tanya) of Fleming Island, FL; his grandchildren, Ashton, Chase, Benjamin, Sydney and Carter; and his sisters, Diane Koontz (Michael) and Meta Reese (Bill).
