With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Bennett of Ocala, Florida, who passed away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lamar Bennett and Lena O'Neal Bennett; his wife Starling Bennett of Ocala, FL; and his sons, Bill Bennett (Allison) of Kissimmee, FL, Bob Bennett of Jacksonville and Brad Bennett (Kate) of Jacksonville. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren.

He died in Ocala, FL, Jan. 12, 2021, of complications from pneumonia and COVID-19.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in Bruce's memory be made to Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL via its online donation information.
