He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell Taulbee Jones and Nathan C. Clark; his former wife JoAnn Clark; and his sister Marlene. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Clark of Ocala, FL; his sons, Gregory Clark (Carol) of Chattanooga, TN and Scott Clark (Chrissy) of Taylor, SC; his siblings, Larry Gilbert of Lexington, KY, Dale Gilbert of Kenvir, KY and Glenda Hamblin of Kenvir, KY; his granddaughters, Carly Clark (Michael Williams) of Lexington, KY and Danielle Clark of Colorado Springs, CO; and his stepchildren, Kimberly Jennings (Jeffery) of Labelle, FL and Brian Carrington of Spring Hill, FL..
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church Joelton Missions in support of the Church that Carl and Brenda were members of for many years.
