She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde James Tackett and Artie Mae Johnson; her sons, Ray and Jay; and her siblings, Venita, Kitty, Bobby Ray, Mike and David.

She is survived by: her children, Kelia of Silver Springs, Deanna of Marion Oaks and Fred of Ocala, Florida..
