He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Welch and Bertha Welch; and his siblings, Robert (Bob), Don Welch, Joanne Bowman, Dorothy Hunter and Wanda Goodin.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Broughton Welch of Ocala; his son Jay Charles Welch of Tennessee; and his grandson Noah Grantham of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-law family members.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God of Prophecy (1307 NE 9th Ave, Ocala, FL 34470).
