With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Hamilton of Ocala, Florida, born in Florala, Alabama, who passed away on August 29, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Peter and Ella Hamilton (Allen); his daughter Patricia Dorman; and his siblings, Winfred, Joe, Noah, Fred, Emile, Boncile Anderson and Mary Ellen Brooks.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Ann (McNeill); his children, Chuck Hamilton and Susan Chambers; his grandchildren, Crissie Blackburn, Justin Chambers, James, Tyler Dorman and Taylor Hamilton; and his great grandchild Noah Gazzara.

In honor of Charlie's life long commitment to donating blood, the family asks if you are able to donate, please go to a One Blood. Donation center and donate in his honor.
