He is survived by: his wife Lynelle Fairchild; his children, Derek Fairchild (Ashley), Hilary Gilbert (Nic) and Harrison Fairchild (Hollye); his grandchildren, Caroline Marie Gilbert and Carson Lyle Gilbert; and his siblings, Bill Fairchild, Bobby Fairchild and Mary King. He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends.
