He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Richard of Ocala and Dave Stafford, Sr.; his stepfather Nelson Richard; his sisters, Alfreda Richard, Delina Alford (Diane) and Marion Robinson; his uncles, Joe McCray, Nathaniel and Raymond Robinson; his aunt Thelma Reed; his wife Willie Beatrice Pierce of Tampa; his son Ira Dave Stafford of Ocala; his stepdaughter Sheryl Thomas of Tampa; his siblings, Irene Mulkey of Ocala, Sirena Richard of Ocala, Spring Stafford of Orlando, Derrick Stafford of Orlando, Reginald Stafford of Orlando and Allen Brown of Orlando; his brothers-in-law, Lenard Mulkey and James "Byron" Mitchell; his aunt Minnie Lou Thomas of Mims; and his uncle Billy Desue of Mims. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren; 19 step-grandchildren, 25 step-great grandchildren and 15 step-great, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
