E. Michael Blackburn wrote a sympathy message

“Sandy, bruce, traci, todd. Our hearts like yours are broken, your dad was a special person, always a joy to be with. Going out with dave and sandy, we knew we were going to have a great time, a very memorable time. We might not see each other for long periods of time but when we did it always seemed like it was yesterday. Dave loved you all very much, he loved to tell us about what you were doing in glowing terms, he was very proud of all of you. Hopefully for lois and i we will meet again.”
