He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Taylor and Albertha Taylor; and his sisters, Dr. Rosa Taylor Banks, Marcia Regeanna Shaw (Herb), Debra Briggs and Carla Parrish (Jimmy).
He is survived by: his children, James Earl Booker, Cynthia D. Evins (Fred), Ennis L. Johnson (Valerie), Edwina Linae Taylor-Grayer and Marlon Taylor (Elicia); his grandchildren, Shermelia Booker, Deborah Booker, ToCarra Evins, Tyesha Evins, Fabian Johnson, Devonte Johnson, Deion Johnson, Dominique Henry, Ethan Taylor, Orion Grayer, Marlon Taylor, Jr. and Mariel Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Cleveland Williams and Cheryl Taylor. He is also survived by cousins and sorrowing classmates and friends.
