She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Mae Presley-Simmons and Thomas Gordon, Sr.; her siblings, Wardell, David, Sr., Joseph Sr., Thomas, Jr., Levi Gordon Sr., Juanita Gordon and Luctricia Dove; her daughter Henritta Bess; and her grandchildren, Lawrence Griffin and Elizabeth Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Wesley of Gainesville, Janice Wesley of Ocala, Linda Lee of Gainesville, Roxanne Watson (Ronald) of Gainesville, Charles Calhoun of Ocala, Myron Calhoun of Ocala, James Gordon of Ocala and Defonsio Daniels (Jennifer) of St. Mary Georgia; her grandson Dyoni Hill of Ocala; her siblings, George Simmons (Charlene) of Akron, Ohio, Annie Sweet of Orange Lake, Katrina Lamar (Alphonso) of Ocala and Surwena Myers (Tommy) of Reddick; and her sisters-in-law, Catherine Gordon of Reddick, Marilyn Gordon of Hawthorn and Sharon Gordon of Tampa. She is also survived by 79 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Summers Funeral Home Chapel (2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, FL 34475). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reddick Church of God (15670 NW Gainesville Rd, Reddick, FL 32686).
