She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Edgar Cullison and Dora Burnett Cullison; her husband Alfredo Ruiz; and her siblings, Jerry Cullison, Bessie Cullison and Jack Cullison.

She is survived by: her children, Alfredo Ruiz Jr. of Sanford, Cynthia Lucina Lundman of Vilcabamba, Ecuador, Marco Antonio Ruiz, Daniel Edgar Ruiz of Duluth, Georgia, Michael Andrew Ruiz of Erie and Gregorio Mateo Ruiz of Ocala. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
