He is survived by: his wife Nora Mitchell; his children, Eugene Mitchell Jr. (Arlene), Ylonda Davis (Ira), Dwayne Mitchell (Willette), Bridgett Powell (Clarence) and Corey Mitchell (Angel); his siblings, Elizabeth Morrow, Viola Mitchell, Mary Mosley, Patricia Mitchell (Leroy), Frenchie Gordon (Roger), Cora Mae Mitchell, Fredrick Mitchell Sr. (Lane) and Wille C. Mitchell Sr. (Antoinette); his aunts, Teresa Floyd and Helen Turner; and his godsons, Jason Robinson and Jamaquel Reynolds A Host. He is also survived by grandchildren (15), great grandchildren (17), nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
