He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley and Dorothy; and his siblings, Barry Smith, Greg Smith, Dianna Yee and Marilyn Blanchard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Shawna Groenwoldt, Danielle Bertrand and Brian Smith; and his siblings, Randy Smith, Rodney Smith, Lee Smith, Susan Chaffee and Kathleen O'Donnell. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
