With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Steele Horner MD of Ocala, Florida, who passed away on August 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Frank has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank S Sr. Horner and Lula Belle Horner; and his sister Francis Horner Fisher (Mary Lou Lamb). He is survived by: his sister Edna Horner Lightner (late John); his children, Jill Rangos (John), Janet Laughlin (Brett) and Jack Horner (Meg); and his grandchildren, Bob (late Lorraine), Robert and Julie Lamb. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews, as well as many good friends.
