She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie James and Alberta Pete; her husband Marvin Cassidy; and her siblings, Geneva Thomas, Lelia Thomas, Ray Pete, Edward Pete, Patrick Pete, Daniel Patterson, Glenda and Lorenza.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Pete (Rebecca), Kenneth Cotton (Melissa), Rosalyn Murray (Frederick), Tracey Pete and Jacqueline Pete; her stepchildren, Joseph Jr., Curtis (Cherry), Nathaniel (Deborah) and Penny; her siblings, Willie James Pete (Mildred), Charles Pete Sr. (Dorothy), Earnest Pete Sr., Wanda Edwards, Linda Gail Pete and Samuel Pete; her goddaughters, Margret and Tiffany; and her granddaughter Kathryn. She is also survived by 62 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (434 SW M. L. K. Ave, Ocala, FL 34475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Glorious Hope Primitive Baptist Church (1638 SW Fort King St, Ocala, FL 34471).
