She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvella Kent and Maurice Cockrell; her husband Frederick W. White; her brothers, Kent Cockrell and Charles Twyman; and her son Gregory James White.

She is survived by: her sister Alyce T. Rawlins; her children, Pamela White Robinson and Lance White (Pamela White); her grandchildren, Dakar Robinson, Dante Robinson, Danielle Robinson and Bailli Coles; her great grandchildren, Anaiyah Robinson and Dylan Robinson; and her granddaughter Chandi. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many close friends.
