He is survived by: his wife Vernetta Hayes of Ocala, FL; his children, Jessie Hayes, Jr. (Chinita) of Calhoun, GA, Devin Hayes (Sara) of Calhoun, GA, Phillip Taylor (Tracy) of Newnan, GA, Jerado Taylor of McDonough, GA, Keisha Hayes of Boston, MA, Vernessa Brewton and Vickie Brewton of Ocala, FL; and his grandchild Darriell Jest. He is also survived by sisters, Helen (Lindell) Welcome of Ocklawaha, FL, and Linda Holland of Warner Robins, GA; twenty-one grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
