With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Blocker (Ocala, Florida), who passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Edgar Blocker and Marion G. Blocker; his wife Hallie Hall Blocker; and his brother William Michael Blocker. He is survived by: his children, Russell D. Blocker of Ocala and Marion Blocker (Ocala) of Aiken, SC; his grandchildren, James Thomas Glisson 3rd, Nathaniel Lyon Glisson of New York, Sarah Blocker of Ocala and Rusty Blocker of Ocala; and his nephews, Bill, James, Adam, Jeremiah and Abraham Blocker.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Brandley House- Hospice of Marion County.

Since getting to know his daughter, Marion , and his son Russell , I can appreciate his demeanor even more.
