He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Porter and Pauline Porter (Aikman); his brothers, Thomas and George Porter; and his grandson Max.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Plaskett of Anthony, Florida; his sisters, Ollie Johnson of Charlestown, Rhoda Schulte of El Paso and Bea Reedy of Vero Beach, Florida; and his grandsons, Cory Barnes and Gary Plaskett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
