He is survived by: his wife Windy Heflin; his daughter Nateria Heflin; his grandchildren, Shonna Ortiz (Manuel), Shanese Graham, Steve McCormick, Jr. and Shema Freeman; his sisters, Pamela Gould (Robert), Betty Jo Thomas (Trini) and Givana Heflin; his brother-in-law Issac Mayes (Patricia); his aunts, Elizabeth Mathis, Betty Ruth Grazes and Evelyn Ann Walton; and his uncle McCoy Maxwell. He is also survived by one niece, and four nephews.
