She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie A. Cooper and Ruby Cooper (Branton). She is survived by: her children, Christopher Mark Gilbert and Teresa Gilbert Pettit; and her brother Ronald "Ronnie" Cooper. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
