She is survived by: her parents, George Malvar and Donna Biggers Malvar; her sons, Preston Gibson (Nicole) and Ryan Gibson (Kaitlynn); her granddaughters, Aria and Alanna; her husband Gregory Gibson; her sister Christy Galas (Greg); and her close friends, Jennifer, Angela and Charity. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested floral arrangements be in the form of potted plants or arrangements so they can continue to grow as a testament to the life Kim lived and as a symbol of her life's enduring beauty.
