Laura Platt Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Laura Platt (Ocala, Florida) is shared. Laura, born on September 9, 1953, passed away on July 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Harter and Mildred Harter. She is survived by: her husband Richard Platt Jr.; her children, Richard Platt (Stephanie), Lisa Gabriel (Roman) and Katie Costa (Joel); her siblings, Butch (Olga), Forrest (Ginny) and Tammy (Paul); her pet Charlie; her grandchildren, Jordan, Ryanne, Kyle, Laura, Tyler, Juli and Liam; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Viktor, Cameron, Peyton, Penelope, Raylen and Nova. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that a donation be made to St Jude's or a favorite charity of your choice in her memory.
