Lester Jay Ossewaarde Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Jay Ossewaarde of Ocala, Florida, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ossewaarde and Anna Ossewaarde; and his former wife Marlene Mae Ossewaarde (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ossewaarde; his children, Jerry Ossewaarde (Laurie), Don Ossewaarde, Lori Kirkpatrick (Jay), Robert Ossewaarde (Jodi) and Randy Ossewaarde; and his stepchildren, Jason, JoAnn, JoDee, Kevin and DeAnn. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

This kind, benevolent spirit was demonstrated in one aspect by his donation of over 24 gallons of blood throughout the years.
