It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Stone of Ocala, Florida, born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Lois departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lois may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lois leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Barnett Stone; and her son Mark Douglas Stone. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Picciano of Brooksville and Sally Shepard of Ocala; and her sons-in-law, Robert Picciano and John Shepard, Sr.. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and her brother.
