She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Hawkins and Facen Hawkins Jr.; her brothers, William Hawkins, Walter Hawkins and Curtis Hawkins; her spouse Willie Lake Jr.; her significant other Robert Allen Sr.; her children, Valeria Lake, Curtis Lake and Ervin Lake; her daughters-in-law, Jacquelyn Lake and Antoinette Lake; and her stepdaughter Ernestine Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Lake (Patricia), Lawrence Lake, Elease Lake, Nathan Lake, Richard Lake (Tura) and Robert Allen Jr. (Michelle). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
