It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Alfred Grant of Ocala, Florida, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cosby and Mattie Kate Grant (Dunn); his wife Joyce; his pet Rambo; and his brothers, T. C., Emmitt, Billy and Branard.
He is survived by: his children, J. W. Grant (Debbie), Gary Grant (Susan), Ramona Jordan (Andy) and Cathy Priest (Jeff); and his sisters, Cecilia Wright and Alice Kimmons. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great- grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice of Marion County or Bibles placed by the Gideons.
