She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Simmons and Lutie Wiggins Simmons; her husband Robert "Bob" Bledsoe; and her sisters, Charlsey Mae, Ellouise, Lois, Edna Earl and Dorothy Nell.

She is survived by: her son Phillip (Betsy); her grandson Robert; and her great grandchild Hardin.
