She was predeceased by: her parents, Ismael Cardona (Carmen Vasquez) and Antioquia. She is survived by: her significant other Francisco Zapata; and her children, Dario, Ricardo, Juan Carlos, Virginia, Luz Elena, Blanca, Alba and Olga. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
