He was predeceased by: his father Charles Auen; his wife Lorraine G. Auen; and his siblings, Alma Buttkevits, Joann Clawson, Wayne Auen, Karl Auen and Gene Auen.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Stuart (William); his grandchildren, Laura Leslie (Stephen) and Timothy Stuart (Melody); his great grandchildren, Nathan Leslie, Joseph Stuart and Andrew Stuart; and his siblings, Audrey Brinker, Judy Jobe, Arlene Barnhart, Doris Latham, Stan Auen (Robin) and Edgar Auen (Dorothy). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
