It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Katherine Fields of Ocala, Florida, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Nicholas C. Lewis and Mabel Lewis; her daughter Nicole Fields; and her siblings, Betty Ash Mulgrave, Mamie Young, Vee Vee Williams, Genolia Boyden, Gerta Mae Murray and Leon Lewis.

She is survived by: her husband Welton Fields, Jr.; her children, Andrea Russell-Wendell of Burke, Virginia and Brian Oneal Fields of Perry Point, Maryland; her grandchildren, Nicholas Ariel, Philip, Antonio, Roland and Zoe; and her siblings, Phyllis LaLande (Robert) of Roosevelt, Randolph Lewis of Cincinnati, Ohio and James Alvin Lewis of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
