He was predeceased by: his wife Carmen; his parents, Ramon and Flor Maria; and his brothers, Julio and Juan.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia "Cindy" Ceilan, Miguel "Michael" Jr. (Lynne) and Jeffrey "Jeff" (Lillian); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jasmin (Francisco), Alyssa (Brandon), Michael Jeff (Andrea), Juliana (Samantha), Alexander (Klaudia) and Aidan; his great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Levi, Adalyn, Makaylah and Jonas; his siblings, Carmen Maria (Kelly) and Ramon (Juana); and his godchildren, Joehans, Ida (Miguel) and Jose (Saundra).
