He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Scott Gregory and Shirley Swearingen Gregory; his brother Howard Bishop Gregory; and his son Daniel Travis Nowlin. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Gregory; his children, Katherine "Kathy" Bryant-House (Chad) and Michael Nowlin (Kim); and his siblings, Donald "Buck" Gregory, Elise Palmieri and Connie Arevalo.
