She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Meade and Cora Mae Powell; and her husband Howard Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Alexander (Janice), Sammie Alexander, Howard Alexander Jr., Patricia Alexander, Sheila McGill (Kenneth), Cora Mae Alexander and Paul Alexander; and her siblings, Laura Mae Daniels, Emma Stowers, Ida Mae MacKay and Willie Lee Powell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
