He is survived by: his mother Elaine Kent (Thomsen); his wife Ann Marie Kent (Hurt); his children, Todd A. Patterson, Frank "Chip" R. Patterson (Sierra) and Carla Mitchell; and his brother Larry Kent (Ginni). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
