With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Gene Garrigues in Ocala, Florida, born in Winamac, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Howard Garrigues and Lois Ada Johnson; his brother William "Billy" Garrigues; his nephew Judson Richards; and his grandsons, Johan Richards and Gregory Shropshire.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Garrigues; and his children, Bradley Richards (Debra), Gregory Richards (Amy Spies), Richard Pishotta (Kathy), Linda Innes (Ian), Gina Brawand (Andy) and David (Jessica Kelly). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time with your loved ones, hug them often and if you are so inclined, donate to Hospice of Marion County or your local Hospice.
