He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Robert L. Ward; his former wife Betty Ward; his son Robert Ward III; his grandson Jeromy Leary; and his sister Katherine McCampbell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley W. Jackson and Trina Leary (Howard); his grandchildren, Tiffaney, Heather, Howie, Cyndi, Clarke, Cindy, Michael and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Grant, Atlas, Aria, Aura, Hayley, Gabi, Hunter, Natalie, Ryan of Timmy, CJ, Robert, Elias, Cohen, Tate, Lily and Lana; his great great grandchild Zane; his niece Diane; his family Betty; and his son Billy.
Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, Ocala, Florida, where he is a member or Ocala Lions Club Endowed Scholarship (in memory of Dr. Charles Marks, Abe Shashy and Robert Ward) at College of Central Florida, Ocala.
