He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rains and Julia Rains. He is survived by: his wife Martha Rains; his daughters, Kandy and Theresa; his stepchildren, Jennifer Lynn and William Timothy; and his siblings, William Rains Jr., Ronald James Rains, Daniel Hall Rains, Linda Schupp and Esther Kuhn. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.
