She was predeceased by: her husband Louie "Edward" McClellan Jr.; her son Madison B. McClellan; her parents, Madison S. Koontz and Ruth P. Koontz; and her sister Kathy Koontz Snyder.
She is survived by: her daughter Mollie McClellan Akes; her granddaughters, Madison K. McClellan, Mackenzie K. McClellan and Madeline Sharon Akes; her brother Michael P. Koontz (Diane); and her daughter-in-law Emily B. McClellan. She is also survived by her nephews; and many dear extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to HUGS Charities of Ocala, which provides temporary assistance to individuals who are actively in treatment for a cancer diagnosis and experiencing financial hardship.
