With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sheriff Don Moreland of Ocala, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sheriff Don Moreland to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Moreland and Ella Moreland; his wife Anita Moreland; and his son Kyle Moreland. He is survived by: his children, Lee Moreland, Richard Moreland, Ann Moreland, Donna Jones, Cathy Thomas (Danny) and Glenna Smith; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Rosalie, Krystal, Eric, Kimberly, Kourtney and Kylie. He is also survived by great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch (Live Oak), the Humane Society of Marion County, and/or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
