She is survived by: her children, Shantay Oats Ward of Wilmington, NC, Keyuner Oats-Lowe (Bryon) of Ocala, Tigter Hamilton of Ocala, Prince Alim Muhammad of Ocala, Nathaniel Hamilton (Nataleigh) of Gainesville, Avedon Hamilton, Jr. of Ocala, Joseph Peterson of Gainesville and Anthrone Oats, Sr. of Ocala; and her siblings, Novella Oats, Jennifer Oats, Sandra Kidd, Fred Lee Oats, Sonny Boy Oats, Jr. and Author Lissimore, Jr.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
