It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvester Michael Rawls Jr. (Ocala, Florida), who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Harrington and Sylvester Rawls, Sr.; his brother Carl Douglas Rawls; and his son Reco Rawls. He is survived by: his wife Annette Watkins-Rawls of Ocala; his children, Schavonne McCarter of Ocala, Ronnie Watkins Jr. of Ocala, Aktaveya Wilcox (Joseph) of Micanopy and Joelle Watkins of Ocala; his siblings, Brenda Rawls of Ocala, Addie Rawls of Ocala, Godsister and Carsetra Jordan (William) of Georgia; his uncle John Rawls, Sr. of Ocala; and his aunts, Carolyn Jones (Alvin), May Stafford of Ocala and Lillian Ritchie of Ft. Pierce. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, sorrowing friends.
