He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Kelly and Jeanne Kelly; and his sister Kathleen. He is survived by: his children, Laura and Joshua (Carlene); his grandchildren, Logan, Joseph and Morgan; and his girlfriend Susan.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests his friends share a laugh with a loved one and/or any donations be made to Hospice Marion County who ensured that his last days were peaceful and with comfort, or to a local animal charity.
