He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Chen and Ana Wong; his siblings, Margarita Lee (Chen), Domingo Chen and Eugene Chen; and his sibling-in-law Kinga Chen.
He is survived by: his spouse Kinga (Chin); his children, Richard Chen and Elizabeth; his son-in-law Mark Dodson; his grandson Benjamin Dodson; his sisters-in-law, Helen Chin and Judy Lui; and his nieces and nephews, Christine, Stuart, Stephen, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Lucia, Victor, Margarita, Domingo and Margaret.
