He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Chartier and William Dewey Chartier Sr.; his wife Margaret Chartier; his son William David Chartier; and his siblings, Frances O'Keefe, Rose Palmer and Albert Chartier.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Penn (Heidi), Deborah Cantlin (Tom), Lisa Chartier (Angela) and Eric Chartier (Vicky); his brother Louis Chartier; and his close friend Therese "Terri" Waters.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Listen Community Center in Lebanon NH – and he especially wanted donations to be allocated to the community dinners.
