It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ellin (Ocala, Florida), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Alberta Ellin (Bliss) and Benjamin August Ellin, Jr. (Bill); his half-siblings, Cathryn Ellin and Benjamin Ellin; his parents-in-law, Virginia Sybert and Abie Seybert; his brothers-in-law, John and Jerry Gunning; and his nephew Frank Osgood.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Ellin; his children, Brad of Lincoln, NE, Blair (Jeni) of La Plata, MD, Jason (Casey) of Stony Brook, NY, Jeff (Stacy Daft) of Baltimore, MD and Dede White (Jeff) of Kernersville, NC.; his grandchildren, Drew Burns, Nathan White, Jeffrey, James Ellin, Jacob Daft, Monique Dooley (Sean), Tracey O'Neill (William), Shannon Welch (Spencer), Madison White and Zara (Alex Ellin); his great grandchildren, Devlyn Lindsay, Reagan Dooley, Reid White, Birdie Welch and Liam O'Neill; his sister Ann Pinter (Tom); and his caregiver Donna Clinch.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Hospice of Marion County, Florida.
