Woodson E. Higham Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 73, Woodson E. Higham of Ocala, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Woodson had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Woodson may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Harden Higham and Earnest Higham; his brothers, Earnest W. Higham and Robert M Higham; and his sons, Mark Allen Higham and Frank David Penardo.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Higham of Ocala Florida; his daughter Crystal Setaro (Paul Setaro); and his sister Rose "Ree" Jackson (Gary Jackson) of Tampa Florida. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865).
A gravide service will follow in St Anne's cemetery in Cranston, RI.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
