Carolyn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carolyn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Carolyn will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Ford and Charles Ford. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Sweeting; and her granddaughters, Kristen Nixon (Leo) and Jordan Sweeting.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church (1968 Bruton Blvd, Orlando, FL 32805).
She also served as a Board member of the Negro Spirit Foundation.
