It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary D. Shibley of Odessa, Florida, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Daniel Shibley Sr. and Donna Jean Shibley (Johnson); his former wife Janice M. Sanborn; his sister Ruth Ann Laskowski (Donald); and his grandparents, Laura, Howard Shibley, Helen and Edwin Johnson.
He is survived by: his fiancés, Debra Lowe of Odessa, FL, Elizabeth Jean Bennett (Jesse Fogg) of Utica, NY, Amanda Dawn Sheets of Boonsboro, MD and Lynn Marie Shibley (Zachary Sullivan Sr.) of Ilion, NY; his partner's daughter Samantha Rivera (Jeremiah) of Fort Liberty, NC; his grandchildren, Katrina Benett of Utica, NY, Zachary Jr., Johnathen Sullivan of Ilion, NY, Noah Shibley of Gloversville, NY and Raylyn Shibley of Sauquoit, NY; and his sisters, Karen Rumrill (Robert Sr.) of Lassellsville, NY and Jacqueline Bailey (Mark) of Hartwick, NY. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews, and their children and many cousins.
